JOB:  Sub Contractor - Kitchen Cabinet Installer

Job description:

Cascadia Cabinetry Inc. is a growing custom cabinetry company based in Victoria, BC. We specialize in kitchens, closets, vanities, and custom built-ins.

Overview

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented independent contractors to join our team, who will be installing customized cabinets and woodwork into client’s homes.

Duties

• Install kitchens, closets, vanities, and custom cabinetry.

• Read and interpret drawings to accurately execute installation plans.

• Ensure clean, accurate installs.

• Complete service calls to repair deficiencies, correct installation issues, and maintain client satisfaction.

• Report material shortages, replacements, and deficiencies to the service department.

• Track and submit accurate records of time, materials, and expenses for billing purposes.

• Work with contractors to address plumbing, electrical, and structural discrepancies.

• Follow all safety procedures and comply with WorkSafeBC standards.

Requirements

• Previous cabinet installation experience is required

• Ability to read drawings and follow install plans

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• A complete set of tools required for cabinet installation.

• Valid driver’s license

• Punctual and professional on job sites

• Provide their own WorkSafe BC coverage
